Some new "Standards" council decided that the above mentioned scene was indeed over the top, but this decision has been made in retrospect of the broadcast of the scene. Presumably someone (e.g. Mary Whitehouse for those of you familiar with UK TV) protested about the graphic portrayal of Maddie's demise and felt that they ought to have some redress on the matter. If they rescreen TP over here then I feel sure that this scene will be heavily edited. A similar thing happened with a scene from Doctor Who a few years ago and sure enough when that particular episode was rescreened the offending shot was excised. BTW TP has been suspended here for three weeks because of the televising of the World Snooker Championship. I'm a snooker fan, but this is too much :-) -- ================================================================================ Mike Hart mrh@maths.nott.ac.uk ================================================================================
