Subject: Blame it on the Reverend Will B. Dunn From: dawson@APS.Atex.Kodak.COM (Keith Dawson) Date: 1991-06-18, 14:55 Newsgroups: alt.tv.twin-peaks Reply-to: dawson@Atex.Kodak.COM Any fans of the comic strip Kudzu out there? I've admired Doug Marlette for a long while, but my opinion of him dipped a few degrees after this strip appeared Monday 6/17. (Background: Kudzu is a stressed-out teenager growing up in the little town of Bypass somewhere in the deep South.) Frame 1 -- Kudzu walking towards a door with the Reverend Will B. Dunn, who is carrying a suitcase. Kudzu: Are you sure this works? W.B.D.: Have faith, my son. Frame 2 -- Rev. W.B.D. kneeling down, fiddling with a TV set. Kudzu: Have you performed any other successful exorcisms besides the Today Show? W.B.D.: Norville's my best known work, but... Frame 3 W.B.D.: Have you ever heard of a little show called "Twin Peaks?" Kudzu: Sure, it was cancelled! Frame 4 -- Rev. W.B.D. still fiddling with the TV. W.B.D.: You're welcome. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keith Dawson voice=508-670-4025 fax=508-670-4033 Atex Advanced Publishing Sys., 165 Lexington Rd.
