Recently, a number of digitized Twin Peaks sounds have been posted to
this newsgroup.  To save future bandwidth, a number of the favorite
sounds are archived on the Almanac information server.  This means that
almost anyone reading this has the ability to request the sounds from the
server.  The sounds are all currently uuencoded and in ulaw format.
To get a listing of the available sounds, send the following line in
a message to almanac@oes.orst.edu:

send sound catalog

The catalog will explain how to request the files.

If anyone has any additional sounds that they would like to make
available, leave them in the anonymous ftp directory /pub/incoming
on oes.orst.edu, or send it to submit@oes.orst.edu.
