Not meaning to sound proud or anything, but did you read my recent posting
where I bring up this point of time flowing backwards?  Here is a repost
of the relevant section:

The last paragraph is a bit confusing...here's a graph:
(0 = creation of universe.  '<' and '>' represent direction of time flow)

Clearly (?), even when Dale enters the black lodge, the inhabitants of the
black lodge know his future, because it happened in THEIR past.  Although
they haven't observed the killing of Laura Palmer, they have lived through
the resulting investigation (backwards).  At any point on the graph, we
don't know our future (to the right) and they don't know their future
(our past - to the left).  Now, isn't that as clear as a pit full of
scorched motor oil?
