Okay.  Answering a couple of your questions:

IMHO that wasn't just the Black Lodge, it was both.  They're the same place,
with the same people, and what it looks like to you depends on how you act.
Perhaps they switched from White to Black when Cooper's coffee turned to
motor oil.

And as for the Log Lady's late husband...  he died in a forest fire.  I
think he was taken by BOB, possibly because he knew too much.  I was hoping
that for the finale, Margaret and Truman would also get into the Lodge,
where Truman would try to save Josie's soul (which they couldn't do because
Joan Chen is shooting a film) and Margaret would see BOB in her husband's
form.
