You're WRONG.  Jackson Roykirk was the creator....oops, sorry, wrong
diatribe.  (The Changeling [Nomad] -- Star Trek: TOS; whenever I hear
'you're wrong', I slip into Star Trek quote mode).

Anyway, the purported movie is a prequel to TP, and as such should be
able to stand on its own.  It has the benefit of ending with LP's death,
which half the world watched when TP first started.

I think, to quote Lynch, "it'll be cool."
