A couple of recent novels incorporating elements of the "Fisher King"
mythos are Tim Powers' _The Drawing of the Dark_ (1979, probably a 
hardcover edition, paperback from Del Rey) and James P. Blaylock's
_The Paper Grail_ (1991, hardcover, Ace Books).
