I'm posting this for Ed Nomura in L.A., "curator"
of the Twin Peaks timeline.  Although he is unable
to post from his summer address, he's not out 
of touch:

There seems to be a lot of confusion about the status of the ^TP^ movie
so I gave Lynch/Frost Productions a call today.  The lady I spoke to said:

1)  The movie is on.  It is in pre-production, but she didn't know the
    start date of filming.
2)  Kyle will be in it.

The lady tried to assure me about #2, but she sounded just a little bit unsure.
Maybe he's just holding out for money?  *8^)
