Subject: TP Movie News From: vnozick@eagle.wesleyan.edu Date: 1991-08-02, 11:39 Newsgroups: alt.tv.twin-peaks According to Marilyn Beck: (culled from The Orange County Register) Good news for "Twin Peaks" fans. The much discussed big-screen version of David Lynch's cult hit TV series is on again. You may recall that plans to bring "Peaks" into theaters hit a snag last month when it appeared star Kyle MacLachlan (who plays FBI agent Dale Cooper) <-- as if we didn't know! // was opting against taking part in the project. Now inside word is that MacLachlan may be "in" after all. Discussions between his reps and Lynch/Frost Productions are under way. Meanwhile, we understand Lynch has a completed script ready to go for the film, and he intends to go through with a "Peaks" picture with Kyle or without. As yet, no start date has been set for the production Lynch initially hoped to begin late this month. -TP without Kyle????? Blasphemy! -I agree with whoever said that Kyle is holding out for money. But I ask, what would Kyle do without David Lynch? -Anyone heard anything about the script? -Think it might still get started this month? When is a tentative release date?
