Over here in New Zealand we have heard about the SHIT programmes that
are replacing TP, 30 something etc.

What was said, was that Americans are getting away from such dramas (see
above) and instead they are being replace with more light hearted
situation comedies  - DON'T you have enough of them already?

Save the networks from killing themselves.  We can't do anything from
over here but we don't need more situation comedies either!!!

I must admitt the very same paper did compare LA Law and Law and order
with Quantem Leap as really great drama.......  Well I don't know about
you but the first too are far more superior.  Maybe it was just the
paper I was reading.....?
