Subject: TP Article in Parade: The Movie, The Pilot From: bnelson@cc.weber.edu (Bert Nelson) Date: 1991-09-06, 12:57 Newsgroups: alt.tv.twin-peaks The following is the actual text that WILL appear in this Sunday's edition of Parade, which is a Sunday insert that appears in many newspapers. This article is on page 20, Setptember 8, 1991 of Parade Magazine Headline: Twin Peaks Lives "Although 'Tweakies' won't be able to follow Twin Peaks this fall-- the eerie TV series created by the director David Lynch is off ABC's sechedule--they will be able to stock up on cherry pie, doughnuts and coffee and screen a videocassette version of the two-hour Twin Peaks pilot, due out next Wednesday. The last 15 minutes are new and give clues to the series' central mystery (who killed Laura Palmer?) and to the killer's motivation. And the word is that the video version -- in keeping with its director's fondess for suprises-- features a differnt killer. Speculation about the series which earned 18 Emmy nominations, has included a second two-hour conclusion that takes up where June's finale left off--with FBI Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle Maclachlan), the series' hero, possessed by the evil spirit BOB. The latest word: A film titled Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me-- directed by David Lynch--just started shooting, for release next spring. A prequel to the TV series, the film covers the last seven days of Laura Palmer's life. At press time, Lynch and his partner, Mark Frost, still were firming up the cast." Below the article is a picture with the following caption: "Sherilyn Fenn and Kyle MacLachlan in scene from Twin Peaks--off TV but not dead yet." That's all folks...
