That was a major disappointment for me: I had imagined all kinds of
things for the Black Lodge, but red drapes and armchairs? That was
(IMHO) really weak. Even a simple fog would have been better. The only
interesting thing was the 'distorted room' visual illusion, which was
hardly noticeable - in the scene with the giant, when the giant walks
away to sit by the dwarf, the giant appears to shrink. _That_ got my
interest level up.

The other disappointment, of course, is that the series ended with so
many loose ends, and no sign of a continuation. What'll I watch now?
