Just got off the phone with my local video distributor.

As for the TP Gift Set, it IS the entire first season minus the 2-hour
pilot on seven videocasettes packaged in a cardboard log. It sells for
different prices around the country, but I'm getting mine for $99.95
plus tax. The street date for these is September 22, a Sunday. You may
want to call up your local video store to put in your special order,
because few stores buy extra sets to sell to the public, and they may be
able to get discounts for multiple purchases, whereas you could not
through the distributor (if the public can even order thru the
distributor).

The 2-hour pilot should be on the shelves by the 20th from Warner and
will sell for $79.95. This will have a new ending. Once again, the best
and cheapest way to obtain a copy for yourself is to advance order thru
your local videostore.
