Subject: Re: Twin Peaks videotapes -two of them? From: brian@hplvec.LVLD.HP.COM (Brian Wood) Date: 1991-09-11, 09:22 Newsgroups: alt.tv.twin-peaks The Euroversion is supposed to be $79.95, and a collector's edition of the first seven episodes excluding the pilot is supposed to be $99.95. That's how much I paid our video store for them. Despite published reports of a Sept. 11 and Sept 12 release date for the two, respectively, the video store manager said that her buyer said that the actual release date had slipped to Sept. 26. She said sometimes they announce stuff to see if there will be any interest, then modify the actual release date accordingly. I don't know whether a slip means they got flooded with orders or whether they slipped to allow more orders to surface. Anyway, if you pay $114 for the collector's edition, you'll pay too much! If it's something else (like maybe the American TV pilot), then I don't know.
