A doppelganger is an evil spirit that takes a human form. The twist with
a doppelganger is it takes the form of someone already living. Its
basicly something like an evil twin, all the evil in a person with none
of the good. Doppelgangers will then over power the real person and take
their life. There is an idea in different myths that everyone has a
doppelganger trapped in the spirit world, and if they are not careful
they might do something to free it from the spirit world. Maybe Coop
wasn't ready to go into the Lodge (remember what Hawk told him). In
doing so maybe he let his go. Hey its just an idea.
