Not up here anyway. From what I heard it was put together at about the
same time as the pilot, Lynch/Frost had no plans on selling the series
to TV stations outside US or something so they did this version for
video rental. But then the word spread so many European countries have
or are now showing it on TV. The Euro-TP movie was in video-stores
long before the series got here.  I haven't met anyone that saw it
before the series though. 

The series as shown over here seems to be identical to the US version,
except that we saw Bob's face shimmering over the (blood) spot on the
carpet in Maddies vision, and the last two episodes were shown
separately. In UK it was censored a bit due to pressure on the BBC
after the "Maddie dances with Bob" scene...
