There are 2 short, early Lynch films I've seen a long time ago- one is called "The Grandmother" and the other is something like "The Alphabet". They're both black & white, short (~ 1/2 hour), and quite bleak and bizarre. They're both pre-Eraserhead, I think, or certainly from that period. No really memorable plots, though one of them focussed on a surreal family situation.
