I think the Tibetian Mix really just appeals to people who follow both dance music and TWIN PEAKS. :-) I found the mix enjoyable because a) an ambient-house backbeat was chosen (and if any dance-style would fit the song, it's ambient-house :-), and b) the beat ran in 4/4-time, which actually didn't clash all that horribly with Cruise's 12/8-time vocals. Made for fun listening.
