In an interview Lara Flynn Boyle said that she had a part in 
Dead Poets' Society that was cut from the movie.  Apparently, it 
had something to do with a romantic relationship with the main (student)
character.  Maybe this is what the extra 13 minutes will be in 
tonight's (Fri 1/3) CBS presentation of the movie.
