It is called "Welcome to the Monkey House", based on the Vonnegut
collection by the same name.  I saw it some time last summer on cable,
can't remember which channel.  The story was changed quite a bit from the
original, and made much better, IMHO, and it was probably Vonnegut's best
short story to begin with.  The Major got a much bigger part than he
did in Hook.
