Subject: Twin Peaks/Snoqualmie FAQ's? From: dmp@fig.citib.com (Donna M. Paino) Date: 1992-03-04, 06:24 Newsgroups: alt.tv.twin-peaks Lots of people from the Snoqualmie area have posted (in bits and pieces) some of the sites to visit on a Twin Peaks pilgrammage. But no one's put it all in one place, in one posting. Is anyone out there up to the challenge? I'm thinking about visiting the area in the spring or summer, and would want to see as much as I could. Some of the places that come to mind at 9:00 am on a workday: - the Double-R diner - the Great Northern - the Falls - the Packard mill - the Park with the Gazebo (where Dr. Jacoby was assaulted) - the title scene, where the "Welcome to Twin Peaks" sign stood - Big Ed's Gas Farm - the Log Lady's house - the location of the train cars where Laura was attacked - the Sheriff's Department and on and on. The area looks so breathtaking on TV, this city person would probably just stand there and suck it all in. Brief directions to each place would be helpful, too, as well as hotels in the area (can you actually stay in the Great Northern?). Thanks in advance for ANY info!
