That's not the point, they have VHS in Europe too. But instead of NTSC
(never the same colour :-) with 525 scan lines, we use PAL with 625 lines.
There is still another System, SECAM, which is used in France and
was used in the former GDR.

It would be a waste of money for the producers, because FWWM could run
in the bioscopes before.

Then comes the video release usually a half year later, then the airing
on Pay TV and then it may come on normal TV. :-)

But astonishing enough, regular ^Twin Peaks^ found it's way very quickly
on the TV screens..
