I read about Lynch's beetle-suit prob (no thanks to the wise-ass) in a magazine
interview... that was half a year ago. A person who seems to be "on the
up-and-up" about varying projects of this nature indicates to me that the whole
idea was scrapped, thanks in part to the new "Kafka" (quotes are mine...)
flick. In fact, word is that Lynch has had his hat in for "The Metaph" since
The Early Days,  but typically, of a director "isn't wanted" to do a project,
there are plenty of ways to keep it out of those particular hands... one, of
course, being to sell the rights to ANOTHER director.........
So ixnay on the etamorphasismay

Further (and on a more appropos note, theorhetically,) for anyone who's
interested, this same "Source" says that the Peaks feature film is in the can,
but cannot get an american distributor! Apparently, Lynch is working right now
for a french film company, which is next going to re-finance a re-mastering of
Eraserhead.

All of this, of course, from a guy who tells me these things just because I'll
listen to THEM.......
