Subject: Lynch's HBO series

_Details_ April 1992 (the one with Sharon Stone on the cover) has an
article about Barry Gifford, author of _Wild at Heart_ in which it 
mentions David Lynch... Gifford apparently once slammed Lynch's 
_Blue Velvet_ as "ugly...academic porn" but has not nothing "bad to say
about Lynch's screen adaptation of his novel [...]  He is presently at work
on a screenplay for a series Lynch is doing for HBO."


So--- Does anyone have more info about this HBO series?  I assume 
that _On the Air_ has already been sold to ABC and I thought that
David Lynch was planning to work on _Ronnie Rocket_ once 
_TP:Fire Walk with Me_ was done. Is this HBO thing something completely
new?


Also, I thought the comment about his latest draft of the show was
interesting:  "You won't believe this.  I just hung up with 
David Lynch and he says the draft I turned in was too outrageous. 
Can you believe that? Too outrageous for David Lynch?"
