It "was". Proof please. I don't want to hear "well, it must've been because
they were his drug-running partners". I want to hear *proof*. Do you have
the writer or director's sworn word that that's who it was?

So what?  How do you know that the Renaults weren't up in Canada at the
moment. They don't have to be present at every drug deal that Leo is
doing. And since, as I stated, we know Jacoby followed Leo once before,
so the fact that he was there DIDN'T HAVE TO HAVE ANY CONNECTION TO THE
DRUG DEAL. Therefore your point isn't necessarily relevant.

Because it didn't have any relevance to the murder of Laura Palmer.

Don't leap to conclusions over which you have not a clue. Since I got the
Japanese laserdisc set a couple of months ago, I've been working my way
through the entire set. It hasn't been that long since I've watched that
episode.
