Well, I think "weird" can be creative, when it opens up into a rich myriad of maybes, stimulates the imagination, adds interesting tangents, gives a new perspective, and that all happens a lot in Lynch's work... but then sometimes I feel he's just being weird because he's run out of ideas. - Scott
