Subject: White Face/Black Lips (FWWM Spoilers)

Hi folks! Just saw FWWM a second time last night and would like to share
a few thoughts.
SPOILER BELOW!
I jumped clear out of my seat when Laura was grabbing Harold and we're flashed
with the image of Laura with white face and black lips. Later, just after
Leland pushes Laura's plastic wrapped body into the water, there's a very
quick flash of Leland with white face and black lips. Today, I recalled that
in the series, Wyndom also had this problem with his complexion (I think when
he was doing something to Leo). So, what does this represent - the incarnation
of evil in some outwardly physical nature?
I'm convinced that the ring has a deeper meaning than has been discussed so far.
Following the ring's journey...
-Teresa Banks has ring.
-Teresa Banks' arm goes "dead".
-Teresa Banks is murdered.
-Someone removes ring from her body (presumably after the body is discovered).
-Agent Desmond finds ring on dirt mound under trailer.
-Agent Desmond disappears.
-LMFAP has ring ("With this ring, I thee wed.") in Laura's dream.
-Cooper tells Laura not to take ring in same dream.
-Laura wakes up with "dead" arm and ring in same arm's hand.
-OAM is wearing the ring when yelling at Leland.
-OAM throws the ring into train car as Bob attempts to possess Laura.
-Laura puts on ring - Bob/Leland cries "No, Don't make me do this!"
OK, now Leland takes the half-heart necklace off Laura's body and OAM has
already left the scene, so Laura should still have the ring on. However,
by the time Cooper shows up to inspect the body, the ring is gone. Did
Bob/Leland take it before wrapping her up or did the OAM retrieve it from
Laura's body (he was in the hospital when Cooper arrived)?
And in the script, but cut from the movie, Annie shows up in the hospital
wearing the ring. What is it about that ring...
