The angels were simply protector spirits, guardians. 'you fall faster and faster and the angels can't help you...' Laura was falling too fast. Ronette started praying and an angel showed up for her. Frankly, I thought the inclusion of angels in this saga simply muddled the issues more. Just pulls in yet another major myth cycle (judeo-christian) That only *appears* to have some meaning. >> >> At the end of the movie, a woman is shown in the red room. > >Laura again. This seemed to be the wrap up from the train car. Ronette was not falling so fast that she couldn't be saved in the 'real' world. Laura was targeted by BOB for attack, so she died rather than open up, and that was her triumph. She defeated BOB, and her angel came to show her (or us) that it all turned out OK. SHe's fine. Saved. Just like Darth Vader. -- ============================================================================== Steven J.
