Hank Worden is superb in the film, and I've always thought his appearance in "Twin Peaks" owes everything to the John Ford classic. Surely I can't be the only person in the world who picked up the reference immediately ... "The Searchers" is one of the most influential American films of all time, this is exactly why Lynch is quoting it! Considering Worden is ABOUT 90 YEARS OLD, I think he was pretty good in the television series. Is he in "Fire Walk With Me"? Richard.
